At Kindred, we understand that the foundation of effective massage therapy begins with a thorough understanding of your unique needs. That’s why our initial visits are 75 minutes long, allowing us to focus on both your wellness goals and a detailed intake process

Here’s what you can expect during your first session:

 1. Warm Welcome and Consultation
Your experience begins with a warm welcome. We’ll take some time to sit down together and discuss your health history, any specific concerns you may have, and your goals for therapy. This is your chance to share any areas of tension, pain, or stress, and to express what you hope to achieve through massage.

2. Tailored Assessment
After our consultation, I will perform a brief assessment to better understand your body mechanics and identify any areas that may benefit from focused attention. This helps me create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs.

3. Therapeutic Massage
Once we’ve established your goals and assessed your needs, you’ll receive a tailored massage therapy session. I will use various techniques—ranging from relaxation to deep tissue—based on your preferences and the findings from our assessment. 

4. Post-Treatment Discussion
After your session, we’ll take a few moments to discuss your experience and any observations I made during the massage. I’ll provide recommendations for self-care, stretches, or follow-up sessions to help you continue on your path to wellness.

5. Creating a Wellness Plan
If you’d like, we can also discuss a plan for ongoing treatment to support your goals and maintain your well-being. Whether you’re looking for regular maintenance, stress relief, or rehabilitation, I’m here to support you every step of the way!
